Alongside him, six other Maoists who met their end were 43-year-old Egolapu Mallaiah, 22-year-old Mussaki Deval, 23-year-old Mussaki Jamuna, 25-year-old Jai Singh, 22-year-old Kishore, and 23-year-old Kamesh, all reportedly led by Bhadru.
This encounter comes on the heels of rising tensions in the area, particularly following the deaths of two tribal individuals a week prior, Uika Ramesh and Uika Arjun, who were suspected of being police informants.
