Major roads were congested, with many areas resembling rivers, leaving numerous individuals stranded.

a cloudburst near Junglechatti, Lincholi, Kedarghati in Rudraprayag led to the complete closure of the road to Rambada and Bhimbali Lincholi. The intense rainfall severely damaged the route, prompting a large-scale rescue mission. According to the Uttarakhand police, 737 people were airlifted by helicopter, and around 2,670 individuals were transported to Sonprayag by relief teams as of Thursday.
