Geely is expanding its presence in Australia with the introduction of Farizon, a specialist in electric commercial vehicles. This move marks a significant step in bringing innovative and sustainable transportation solutions to the Australian market.

The electric van sector in Australia is poised for significant growth with the imminent entry of Farizon Auto, a commercial vehicle brand from Chinese automotive powerhouse Geely. As part of its strategy to tap into right-hand drive markets, Farizon Auto announced its plans to expand into regions such as the UK last year. This momentum continues as Jameel Motors, based in Saudi Arabia, has secured an agreement to distribute Farizon's electric vehicles (EVs) in Australia.

Farizon's offerings will include both the Supervan (SV) cargo van and the H9E truck, with Jameel Motors projecting availability for purchase within the first half of 2025. Although the specific start date for customer deliveries has yet to be confirmed, anticipation is certainly building within the Australian market.
