Dr. Abhiraj, a member of the medical team from the 5 Rivers Heart Association, an NGO, confirmed that due to the extended period without nourishment, Dallewal's health has deteriorated significantly. He stated, "We are closely monitoring him every day," emphasizing the critical state of the farmer leader's health.
Reports indicated that there was a notable drop in Dallewal's blood pressure on Thursday. In an attempt to stabilize him, the medical team elevated his legs and provided a massage. However, Dr. Abhiraj cautioned that Dallewal's condition remains extremely delicate, mentioning the potential for sudden adverse events. “His life hangs in the balance; any moment could prove decisive,” he elaborated.
The medical assessments also revealed concerning levels of ketones in Dallewal's system, attributed to an imbalance of electrolytes, which further increases the threat of cardiac arrest.
