State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller, during a regular news briefing, emphasized that the United States had no involvement in the blasts. "I can tell you that the U.S. was not involved in it. The U.S. was not aware of this incident in advance," Miller said.
Miller further stated that the U.S. is concerned about any incidents that could increase tensions in the Middle East and urged Iran not to exploit the situation to create further instability.
In response to the blasts, Hezbollah threatened to retaliate against Israel, holding them responsible for the explosions.
