In a no-holds-barred address during his US tour, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi unleashed a scathing attack on the BJP and RSS. Speaking to students at the University of Texas and Indian diaspora in Dallas, Gandhi claimed that after the recent Lok Sabha results, the fear of BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has vanished. He hailed it as a monumental victory for the people of India, stating, “We won’t accept attacks on our Constitution!”
Taking a hard stance on gender issues, Gandhi criticized the “ridiculous” attitude many Indian men hold towards women, blaming the BJP and RSS for promoting traditional gender roles. He contrasted Congress' progressive stance, asserting women should be free to aspire for more.
Gandhi didn’t stop there—he tackled India’s employment crisis head-on, boldly comparing India’s struggle with China’s booming production-driven job market. “China dominates global production while we’ve given up,” Gandhi remarked, calling out both India and the West for focusing on consumption over creating jobs.
The BJP wasted no time firing back! National spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari accused Gandhi of being eager to “bat for China,” questioning his loyalty to India. In a blistering response, Bhandari slammed Gandhi for “attacking India’s legal system” and “pushing a divide-and-rule strategy.”
Bhandari added fuel to the fire, alleging, “Rahul’s statements reflect falsehoods against India, favor China, and insult Hindu traditions.” He predicted the people of India will continue to reject Gandhi and Congress, as they did in 2014, 2019, and 2024, in favor of PM Modi’s leadership.
